Physical Incubation Program

By engaging in the InnovationXL Physical Incubation Program, you will be co-located with Queen’s Office of Partnerships and Innovation, Launch Lab, and the Southeastern Ontario Angel Network at Innovation Park, and will have access to many resources to advance your technology and business. Innovation Park at Queen’s University is a physical research, development and commercialization hub for dynamic interfaces between the university, industry, including technology entrepreneurs and startups, not-for-profit partners and government.

Eligible technology and innovation-driven entrepreneurs and startups may qualify for:

  1. access to on-site facilities, amenities, and related services, including:
    • individual work space and collaboration spaces
    • shared wet lab and prototyping spaces
    • the nanofabrication laboratory
    • site-wide confidentiality agreement
    • internet, printer-photo copier, and supplies
    • meeting rooms and event space
    • 24hr security; janitorial
    • site reception; mail, shipping, and receiving services
    • cafeteria; fitness facility
  2. access to on-site services and programming, including:
    • mentorship and coaching services 
    • match-making services 
    • facility and technical services
    • research and development collaborations
    • intellectual property management services
    • communications and promotional services
    • acceleration programs
    • workshops and networking events
    • investment readiness events
    • embedded management services
