A Queen’s University infectious disease expert has collaborated in the development of a disinfection system that may change the way hospital rooms all over the world are cleaned as well as stop bed bug outbreaks in hotels and apartments.

KINGSTON, ON -- A bold new approach to commercializing Canadian research discoveries in green chemistry has resulted in a $3.2 million vote of confidence from industry investors and venture capitalists.

MISSISSAUGA/KINGSTON, ON -- A unique ceramic coating process developed by Datec Coating Corp., a spinoff company of Queen’s University’s PARTEQ Innovations, has been awarded certification by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) for its heating element technology for use on mica and aluminum.
